ROBERT P. SHEILS, JR., ESQUIRE

Mr.
Sheils has been practicing law for 33 years in New York and
Pennsylvania in both private practice and for various
financial institutions. He has been Vice President and
counsel at the Bank of New York and Senior Vice President of
the then Northeastern Bank of Pennsylvania, now PNC Bank.
After he left Northeastern Bank, he returned to private
practice and began his own law firm in 1993. Mr. Sheils has
been a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee since 1993. In addition,
Mr. Sheils represents a number of financial institutions,
corporate, and individual clients, including a substantial
number of clients in business (including small business),
commercial, banking, real estate, bankruptcy and general
legal matters. He is a member of various bar associations
and professional associations including the American Bar
Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the
Lackawanna County Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy
Institute, National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, and
INSOL International, an International Solvency Association.
Mr. Sheils is a member of the New York and Pennsylvania Bars
and various Federal Bars. He graduated from Fairfield
University and the Fordham University School of Law.
JILL M. SPOTT, ESQUIRE

Ms.
Spott was born in Nyack, New York. She received a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the
Pennsylvania State University in 1989 and a Juris Doctorate
from Widener University School of Law in 2002 where she was
a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society and an advisor
in the Student Mentoring program. Ms. Spott is a member in
good standing of the Lackawanna County and Pennsylvania Bar
Associations and is also admitted to practice in the United
States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts
of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court. She has worked for Sheils
Law Associates since 1999. Ms. Spott serves as a member of
the Board of Directors for the Humane
Society of Lackawanna County and the Young Lawyers Division
of the Lackawanna County Bar Association. She also continues to serve as
an advisor in the Student Mentoring program at Widener
University.

Mr.
Sheils was born in White Plains, New York on December 16,
1977. He graduated cum laude from Fairfield University in
2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and American
Studies. Mr. Sheils received his Juris Doctorate from the
University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2003. He was
admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, New Jersey Bar, U.S.
District Court of the Middle District of Pennsylvania and
U.S. District Court of the District of New Jersey in 2003.
He was admitted to the Florida Bar, U.S. District Court of
the Middle District of Florida, and U.S. District Court of
Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 2004. Prior to joining
Sheils Law Associates, Mr. Sheils was a law clerk for the
Honorable Linda Wallach Miller, Monroe County Court of
Common Pleas, 2003-2004. He is a member of the Lackawanna
County, Monroe County, Bankruptcy Bar of the Middle District
of Pennsylvania, Florida, Pennsylvania, and American Bar
Associations. Mr. Sheils also serves as a Board Member for
the American Red Cross, Scranton Chapter. |
